Celtic Bronze Ring Mystical Decorated with fancy magic symbols. 

This ring was found at a site in the Danube Valley and dates from around 600 B.C. This ring was cast from "high copper" alloy which lets the ring take an exquisite shine and lends it it's deep golden colour.

The 14mm X 7mm bezel has an "eye" shape to it and sits above a complete band of the half-round variety. There are triangular "notches" at each corner of the "eye". There is a vertical "bar" in the center of the ring and the central bar is filled with horizontal lines. There is also a curved triangular design with a pair of small lines inside of it to either side of the central bar. 

 This ring has a lot of copper in its alloy and should mellow into a deep, plum shade with time. These early geometric patterns always had some type of magical meaning to them. There was a meaning ascribed to a design based upon how many objects could be made into a pattern just by adding or taking away lines. In any case, the nice details and patterns on this well made ring will be sure to please and make this ring a super choice for any collection of ancient jewelry.
